I actually found Karen Hill on Houzz. With our first phone call, I knew Karen was the designer for us. She totally understood the look that we were going for.
For our project, we already had blueprints of our home. Karen reviewed them and suggested some structural changes. Her suggestions improved the function of our home. We were actually able to see the changes on her drawings before they were implemented. Seeing our home on her computer design really helped us visualize what our home would be like.
Karen worked well with our contractor. She was at our home when it was being built and specified where ceiling lights were going to be placed, light switches, outlets, pendants, chandeliers, sconces, etc. I can’t stress enough how important these elements are and my husband and I were impressed with her knowledge.
Karen helped design the exterior of our home as well. She showed us different samples of siding, stone, garage doors, doors, lights, hardware, shutters, etc. With so many choices out there, Karen understood exactly the look we wanted and made it happen.
Karen helped us design our kitchen, great room, bathrooms, office, and bedrooms. She reconfigured the original layout and helped us maximize space.
She was beyond amazing with helping us pick out cabinets, countertops, flooring, hardware, paint, tile, faucets, appliances, bathroom plumbing, light fixtures, mirrors, and furniture.
Karen’s expertise saved us so much money, time, and stress. We would tell Karen different things we liked and she would come back with beautiful selections in our budget.
Karen is incredibly organized and was completely dedicated to our project. Every step of the way she was there. There were so many times I would call, email or text Karen throughout this process because I needed her opinion. She was always professional and I trusted her vision. I highly recommend Karen Hill.
